This paper discusses SerDes channel impulse modeling. The results show limitations using the Keysight ADS Channel Simulator, and other channel simulators, and proposes a resolution using Causal S-Parameters the have none of the limitations and can lead to consistent S-Parameter impulse modeling in various Channel Simulators or other time domain simulation tools.

See the full article: SerDes Channel Impulse Modeling with Rambus PDF

About John Baprawski

Hi.
